Beginning to understand your own story takes courage, and connecting with the right person to help you read through the pages can be empowering. As human beings we experience challenges in our lives that can leave us feeling unsure of how to navigate our situation and our emotions, but we do not have to let those challenges define who we are. Therapy can be a safe space for you to tell your story. It offers a safe place to discuss the hardships, and also allows us to celebrate the successes. It can be a place to heal, to challenge yourself, find balance, and to grow.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I am here to help you improve self-confidence, self-esteem, self-awareness, and develop the skills for personal and relationship development.

I am passionate about supporting clients who live with chronic illness, chronic pain, and health anxiety. Through a Polyvagal-informed approach and psychoeducation, I guide clients in understanding the profound connection between mind and body. My aim is to empower individuals with the tools needed to cultivate a nurturing relationship with themselves, even amidst their pain. Additionally, I am trained in Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), a therapeutic technique that helps retrain the brain to interpret and respond to bodily signals more accurately. This approach can significantly reduce the intensity of pain symptoms and disrupt the cycle of chronic pain.

My personal approach to human connection includes a mixture of authenticity, teamwork, and humor. Professionally, I utilize a strengths-based approach, while using techniques such as Motivational Interviewing, ACT, and DBT to help build a foundation of self-love, compassion, and healthy coping.
